Herman Flaschka (born 25 March 1945) is a well-known Austrian born mathematical physicist and Professor of Mathematics at the University of Arizona, known for his important contributions in completely integrable systems (soliton equations). == Childhood == He's been living in the USA since his family immigrated when he was a teenager.
